Southern White BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders

Looking for a quick and delicious dinner or appetizer ideas? These can be on your table in under 20 minutes, which makes the perfect for a busy night!

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and de-veined (removing tails is optional)
  • 1 C. Dot’s White BBQ Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Add the shrimp, 1 C. Dot’s White BBQ Sauce and minced garlic in a resealable bag and seal. Toss to coat evenly with the marinade. Marinade for 15 minutes to 1 hour. Thread the shrimp onto skewers. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium high heat. Place the skewers on the grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until shrimp are pink and opaque.

Boiler directions: Preheat the broiler. Place the shrimp skewers on a sheet pan coated with cooking spray. Broil for 2-3 minutes on each side or until shrimp are pink and opaque.

Sprinkle and serve with lemon wedges.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pulled pork (pre-cooked or slow-cooked)
  • ½ cup Ms. Dot’s Southern White BBQ Sauce
  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 cup coleslaw mix
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix coleslaw, vinegar, honey, and mustard. Set aside.
  2. Heat pulled pork in a skillet or slow cooker until warm. Stir in Ms. Dot’s BBQ Sauce until evenly coated.
  3. Toast slider buns lightly.
  4. Layer each with pulled pork, a spoon of slaw, and an optional drizzle of extra sauce.
  5. Serve warm — the creamy tang of Dot’s sauce ties perfectly with smoky pork.

Pro tip: Add a few pickle slices for crunch!

  • Half Bottle Dots White BBQ Sauce
  • 2 sweet apples, cored and chopped
  • 1 cup red seedless grapes, sliced in half (or 1/4 cup of raisins)
  • 1 cup celery, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup chopped, slightly toasted walnuts
  • OPTIONAL: 1/2 cup (or more) shredded sharp cheddar cheese or crumbled Gorgonzola cheese.
  • Dash of pepper
  • Lettuce

In a large bowl, mix the apple, celery, grapes, walnuts and cheese. Toss with half a bottle (or more) of Dot’s White BBQ Sauce and a dash of pepper. Serve on a bed of fresh lettuce. ENJOY
